What to expect from workshops
The next sessions are:
Saturday 4th July
Saturday 25th July
Running from 1pm until 4pm.
I'm looking forward to hosting you at my next workshop!
It'll be a fun and relaxing afternoon, where we can paint, chat and get stuck into being creative.
You are welcome to show up a little early if you want to get settled with a drink and meet the other crafters.
Below is a quick rundown of the afternoon:
- You can choose any wooden Peach Plot earrings, necklace or decoration to paint.
I highly recommend having a browse of my shop, Instagram and Facebook to see the full range and have an idea of what you might want to choose in advance of the session. - I will cut the items on the laser cutter ready for sanding and painting.
- There will be pencils and paper if you wanted to sketch out your ideas and test colours first before putting paint to wood. And don't worry if you think you're not naturally creative, the aim is to have fun and there is plenty of inspiration to get you started.
- Brushes and paints will all be provided.
- You will then have until the end of your session to finish your chosen piece.
- You will leave your item(s) with me to be sealed. This takes a couple of days to make sure it is properly coated and dry.
- You can arrange to have it posted out (at the cost of postage) or you can come and collect (free of charge)
A few other things to note:
- Teas, coffees and soft drinks will be provided. If you have any allergies, please send me an email to let me know so I can ensure your safety is properly catered for.
- You will be painting, aprons will be provided, but please wear something you don't mind getting paint on, just in case!
- It can get a little cold in the studio, I have a heater but please make sure you have a couple of layers if you are the kind of person who gets cold easily.
- The studio is accessible, with an accessible toilet.
- If you don't finish your piece, that's ok! You can take it home and bring it back to be sealed when you are ready.
- If you finish your item, you will have the opportunity to paint more for a small extra charge.
Parking
There is parking directly outside the shop. There are no steps or ramps for access.
There are 4 bays available, 2 labelled 4 and 2 labelled 5, any of those can be parked in all afternoon.
We welcome questions and feedback!
All feedback is welcomed, as I want to make sure I am offering the best experience for all guests.
I will also be taking lots of photographs to be used in future marketing, if you would like to be excluded from the photos, please let me know in advance.
If you have any other questions, please do reach out in the form below.
