Some of you may have already seen our pictures on Instagram showing the finished poster for the Barningham Apple Festival.  This event is now only a week away!  There will be lots of fun things happening and we will be having one of the craft stalls.  If you can tear yourselves away from the Rugby Final, come and enjoy the afternoon!

Textile Journeys

We both attended Hannah Lamb's inspiring 'Making Threads' workshop run as part of the Saltaire Inspired programme in May.  We explored personal journeys and interpreted it using threads.  It was great to be made to look at and interpret a journey in a completely new way.

We were also given a private view of her thought provoking 'Liner Mapping' exhibition.  To see more of Hannah Lamb's work you can find her on Facebook or via her website

Had a very successful day at the Little Northern Contemporary Craft Fair in Altrincham.  A belated thank you to all those who visited bought things from our stall.  It was a great fair with a wide range of talented artists.  We hope we will be able to go back again in the future!
