About

Peach.jpg

Beverley and Claire Peach are designer makers working under the name "Peach Plot".  Their work is inspired by fairy and folk tales from all over the world and they create figures, books and decorations from a collection of textiles and papers, particularly using old, recycled and found materials gathered over many years.

Beverley worked as a Landscape Architect until enrolling on a textile design course.  Always creative, she then started designing and making gifts and selling them to friends and at local fairs.  Claire has always been a talented artist; she has a degree in Surface Pattern Design and specialises in working in paper.

They are based on the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales where Beverley works as a volunteer at The Bowes Museum.  Claire works as a nanny looking after three small children.
